Taylor Swift intends to keep dancing indefinitely to the tune of her close friend Selena Gomez's upcoming song, "Single Soon"
Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez crossed paths via the Jonas Brothers in 2008 and have remained inseparable ever since.
In a display of unwavering friendship, Taylor Swift stood by Selena Gomez’s side as she released her latest single, “Single Soon,” this Friday. Amidst her Mexican tour leg for the Eras Tour, the 33-year-old singer of Lavender Haze took to her Instagram Stories to give a special shout-out to her close companion, the 31-year-old star of “Only Murders in the Building.” The following day, Swift shared a snippet of the song on her own IG Story, adorning it with the words, “WHEN UR BESTIE IS THE BESTEST.” Their bond remains as strong as ever.
Announced last week by the founder of Rare Beauty, the track release was accompanied by the news that she is still diligently working on her upcoming solo album. Sharing the insight on Instagram, the former Disney luminary expressed, “Since I’m still in the process of finalizing SG3, I decided to unveil a delightful little song I penned a while ago, perfectly suited for the waning days of summer.”
Gomez’s most recent complete album was 2020’s “Rare,” followed by the release of her Spanish-language record, “Revelación,” which secured a nomination for Best Latin Pop Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
In parallel, having wrapped up the U.S. leg of the Eras Tour, the artist has now embarked on an international journey, with the Mexican leg of the tour scheduled for this month. Furthermore, anticipation is building for the reissue of her 2014 album, “1989,” rerecorded and slated for release on October 27, 2023.
