Britney Spears’ revealing memoir, “The Woman in Me,” hit the shelves just last month.
Reportedly, Britney Spears is in discussions about adapting her tell-all memoir into a television series. After releasing her autobiographical book titled “The Woman in Me” last week, the Toxic singer set numerous records.
According to sources cited by The Sun, there is now a competitive race to bring her life story to the screen. They mentioned, “Her management company CAA has received offers to transform it into a TV series, a feature film, or even a documentary.”
Two documentaries about the tumultuous life of the pop star have already been released in the wake of the #FreeBritney movement that gained momentum on the internet over the past few years. However, her latest work offers the most comprehensive firsthand account of both her personal and professional life.
Nonetheless, it has come at the cost of disappointing her loved ones. A source revealed to New Magazine that Britney’s two sons, Sean and Jayden, are “heartbroken” by the revelations in the book. “They believe the book is too much. If Britney wants to reconnect, they feel she is going about it the wrong way,” explained the insider.
