Internet users discuss the photos Shoaib Malik posted on his son's birthday

“Is there no complete family photo?” inquires a social media user of the cricketer.

Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik shared pictures while celebrating his son Izhaan Mirza Malik’s fifth birthday on Sunday.

The cricketer turned to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to offer a glimpse of his son’s special day. The photos showed him spending quality time with Izhaan at what seems to be the residence of Indian tennis star Sania Mirza in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Malik’s caption read, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY Beta… Baba loves you,” accompanied by a heart emoji, alongside four images featuring Izhaan.

However, there was something that intrigued netizens regarding the cricketer’s apparent oversight of his wife, Sania, who was seen in the background, moving about while the father-son duo posed with Izhaan’s cake in the foreground.

Both the father and son appeared content in each other’s company, with Sania seen holding her sister’s daughter. However, she did not join them in the photos, leaving their fans and followers without a complete family picture.

While many internet users extended their birthday wishes to Izhaan, others raised questions about why the celebrity athletes did not share a family photo on their son’s special day. This occasion was expected to be a family reunion for the couple, who divided their time between the UAE, Pakistan, and India.

The online community has been curious about the personal lives of this sports couple for over a year, often delving into their private affairs.

One user, Ashok Raj Purohit, commented, “No proper family photo?”

Another user named Uzi asked, “Was Sania added to the photo or completely left out? What happened?”

In comments on X (formerly Twitter), a user named Engineer Amjad wrote, “Malik, it seems your in-laws are very concerned today; it looks like Sunday is not going well for them.”

Others expressed shock at not finding a complete family photo. “What? This picture raises many questions.”

According to sources within the former cricketer’s family, Shoaib Malik went to Dubai to celebrate his son’s birthday and plans to return to Pakistan immediately after the celebration.

Once known as a power couple, Shoaib and Sania garnered headlines for an extended period last year due to reports of their alleged separation.

These two prominent athletes tied the knot in 2010 and welcomed their son, Izhaan Mirza-Malik, in 2018.

However, after nearly 12 years of marriage, their fans began speculating about troubles in Sania and Malik’s relationship in November 2022, following certain events that hinted at strains between them.

Despite fans noticing some distance between the couple, the cricketer refuted the rumors multiple times and even posted messages for Sania on social media over a period of four to five months.
