Katy Perry’s last night of her residency at the Resorts World Theatre took place in Los Angeles, and Celine Dion was in attendance.
Celine Dion’s potential return to the stage is hinted at, following a period of severe illness.
After an absence of two years due to a serious health condition, Celine Dion made an unexpected public appearance in Las Vegas.
On Saturday, she was spotted in the audience at the Resorts World Theatre during the final night of Katy Perry’s residency, an engagement Dion had to cancel two years earlier.
Dion’s presence at Perry’s farewell performance drew even more attention than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attendance.
According to news reports and fan videos, other celebrities in the audience included Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden from Good Charlotte, as well as Zoe Saldana.
John Katsilometes, a prominent entertainment columnist for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, noted that Dion’s appearance at Perry’s show is seen as further evidence that she may soon resume her residency at Resorts World.
Katsilometes reported that AEG staff have conveyed their “positive outlook” on Celine Dion’s stage comeback, noting, “Dion’s enthusiastic dancing during the show has boosted the confidence of fans and officials alike, suggesting she could make a stage return in 2024.”
On his social media account, Katsilometes, formerly Twitter, shared his speculations about her potential return, stating, “I’m hopeful about her comeback in the upcoming year. Possibly in the spring… Just an informed estimate.”
