British football legend David Beckham was seen alongside cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, a fellow UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-final between India and New Zealand in Mumbai.
Leading up to India’s semi-final clash with New Zealand, David Beckham, a global football superstar, met with ICC worldwide Ambassador Sachin Tendulkar, one of cricket’s greatest players, as reported by the ICC.
A renowned figure in international sports, Beckham has had a stellar career, playing for top teams such as Manchester United and Real Madrid, in addition to representing England.
During his visit to India, Beckham was actively involved as an ambassador for UNICEF’s goodwill campaign.
Sachin Tendulkar enjoyed a stroll around the stadium, absorbing the atmosphere and receiving an enthusiastic welcome from the packed Wankhede stadium. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause for these sporting icons.
Prior to the crucial semi-final, Beckham was observed engaging in conversations and sharing his experiences with players from both competing teams.

As the World Cup reaches its climax, only four teams remain in contention. Today, Australia and South Africa will face off in the semi-final in Kolkata, while tomorrow India and New Zealand will battle it out in the final.
