Nicole Kidman recently shared some thrilling news with Big Little Lies enthusiasts during a Ladies Professional Golf Association Q&A event at the CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, Florida. The 56-year-old Moulin Rouge star, reflecting on her initial involvement with the series, expressed her unexpected delight in its success, mentioning her initial contemplation of retirement. Kidman, alongside Reese Witherspoon, played a pivotal role in producing and creating the show.

In a video shared by Deux Moi, Kidman conveyed her gratitude to the viewers for making Big Little Lies a massive success. She then dropped a bombshell announcement, revealing that a third season is in the works: “And we will be bringing you a third one, just FYI.”

Fans, who have been eagerly awaiting updates on the show since its premiere in 2017 as a limited series based on Liane Moriarty’s 2014 novel, have reason to celebrate. The star-studded cast, featuring Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Zoe Kravitz, and Shailene Woodley as high-powered yet troubled moms in Monterey, California, garnered widespread acclaim.
