Dominic Fike made his debut in Euphoria during Season 2, portraying the character of Elliot, a drug user.
Dominic Fike has expressed uncertainty about reprising his role as Elliot in Euphoria’s upcoming Season 3. In an interview with Variety during the Sundance Film Festival, the 28-year-old singer disclosed that the showrunners had not contacted him for a potential return to the teen-drama series.
While expressing interest in returning to the show, Fike mentioned, “I don’t really talk to them anymore.” In Euphoria Season 2, he played the character of Elliot, a drug user involved in a complex love triangle with Rue (Zendaya) and Jules (Hunter Schafer).
The third season is slated to premiere in 2025, following a writer’s and actors’ strike that persisted for almost half of the previous year. HBO’s CEO, Casey Bloys, confirmed that showrunner Sam Levinson is actively writing the script for Season 3.
Regarding the show’s future beyond the upcoming season, Bloys stated, “I don’t know that he is laying out what the future looks like. It’s just getting Season 3 done. I haven’t had a specific conversation with him about is this the end or what does it looks like.”
