Kate Middleton is recuperating from a ‘scheduled abdominal surgery,’ while King Charles is scheduled to undergo a prostate operation.
Amidst the ongoing health crisis in the royal family, Sarah Ferguson has received unsettling news. The Duchess of York, who recently underwent a mastectomy to address breast cancer, has now been diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer, as confirmed by her spokesperson on Sunday to multiple outlets.
Following a summer diagnosis of early-stage breast cancer, Sarah, Duchess of York, had several moles removed and analyzed during reconstructive surgery. Unfortunately, one of these moles was identified as cancerous, indicating the presence of malignant melanoma.
At 64 years old, the mother of two is currently undergoing additional investigations to ensure that her recent diagnosis was caught in its early stages. Despite the distressing news, the royal maintains good spirits. Expressing gratitude, the Duchess thanked her medical team, particularly her vigilant dermatologist, emphasizing the importance of monitoring the size, shape, color, and texture of moles for signs of melanoma.
Sarah Ferguson, known as Fergie, shares daughters Princess Beatrice, 35, and Princess Eugenie, 33, with Prince Andrew. Presently, she is recovering at a clinic in Austria.
This revelation coincides with reports of Kate Middleton recovering from a ‘planned abdominal surgery’ and King Charles preparing for a prostate operation.
