‘One of the Girls’ made its mark by reaching 200 million views on Spotify as the first song by a K-pop act to achieve this milestone.
Jennie from ‘BLACKPINK’, with her song “One of the Girls” in collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, surpassed BTS’ Jungkook’s record, becoming the most streamed OST on Spotify.
This track made history by reaching 200 million views on Spotify, marking the first song by a K-pop act to achieve this milestone. Additionally, the track performed exceptionally well across various universal music platforms, with streams ranging from 3 to 5 million.
The OST remained in the spotlight, securing a position in Spotify’s Top 50 for over 100 consecutive days. It outperformed Jungkook and Jack Harlow’s “3D” as well as Jungkook’s “Standing Next To You”.
“One of the Girls” continues to soar on all streaming platforms despite its release months ago. This milestone was reached thanks to significant streams on the popular streaming giant.
It achieved the distinction of being the fifth ‘longest-charting’ song by a K-pop solo artist on the global list, surpassing records set by several other hits, including NewJean’s fifth-most streamed song by an act in 2023.
Jennie recently unveiled the launch of her label, ODD ATELIER, providing insight into her solo endeavors.
Additionally, she renewed her contract with YG Entertainment along with the other members of the group.
