BTS’s Jungkook Earns Four Nominations at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards
BTS’s Jungkook Achieves Another Milestone by Winning the Male Artist of the Year Award at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards.
The glamorous event, hosted in Santa Monica on Sunday, marked a significant moment in the career of the “Dynamite” vocalist as he became the first Asian artist to receive this prestigious title.
Jungkook, whose breakthrough solo debut came with his first studio album, “Golden,” released in November 2023, emerged victorious over other nominees vying for the prestigious award, such as Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, and Drake, who ranked among the top two to four most-streamed artists last year on Spotify.
His agency took to social media to share a heartfelt acceptance message on BTS’s official X account (formerly known as Twitter).
“Your support made this possible,” said the “Butter” singer, acknowledging his win to his expansive global fan base, known as Army.
At the People’s Choice Awards, Jungkook received nominations in four categories: Pop Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, and Collaboration Song of the Year for “Seven” featuring Latto.
This significant win follows the release of the 26-year-old South Korean singer’s all-English album, which includes collaborations with various international artists such as Latto, Jack Harlow, and Usher.
